Job description

Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to manage a company's online presence across various social media platforms, including creating engaging content, monitoring interactions with followers, analyzing data to optimize campaigns, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels, aiming to build community and achieve marketing goals through social media engagement.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

Writing compelling posts, developing visual content (images, videos), and crafting engaging captions aligned with brand voice. 

Social Media Strategy Development:

Identifying target audience, setting goals, and creating a calendar for posting across different platforms. 

Community Management:

Responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions promptly, fostering positive interactions with followers. 

Analytics Monitoring:

Tracking key metrics like reach, engagement, and conversions to measure campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments. 

Influencer Outreach:

Collaborating with relevant influencers to promote brand content and reach a wider audience. 

Social Listening:

Monitoring online conversations related to the brand to identify potential issues and opportunities for engagement. 

Campaign Management:

Planning and executing social media campaigns aligned with marketing objectives. 

Brand Consistency:

Maintaining a consistent brand image and tone across all social media platforms.

Reporting and Analysis:

Presenting data insights to stakeholders to demonstrate the impact of social media efforts. 

 

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Degree:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field.

Required Skills:

  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, and social media advertising campaigns.
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools.
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Creativity and visual design understanding.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.).
  • Data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles.
  • Ability to adapt to changing trends and algorithms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various internal teams and external partners to achieve common goals.
  • Customer service orientation. 

 

Knowledge of IT Industry:

A strong understanding of the IT industry, including common technologies, software licensing models, and cloud computing.
